8.1 TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION

Technical documentation in both IETM and PDF formats. Both formats include General, Functional Description, Maintenance, Troubleshooting, and Illustrated Parts Lists. Troubleshooting technical information using applicable test equipment may also be included.

The IETM is a Class-4 IETM that meets MIL-PRF-87268 and MIL-PRF-87269 military standards. It is hierarchically structured and includes logical navigation options that include hyperlinks, table of contents, index, and searchable index. Information is "chunked" using modern Instructional System Design (ISD) theory that presents adult users with only the information essential for that task. IETMs have repeatedly demonstrated their ability to decrease maintenance time, increase user effectiveness, and decrease overall life-cycle costs.

The catalog price includes a platform specific IETM, PDF, and a five-year support agreement. Technical documentation that meets AECMA standards is available for additional price.
